Hey Hey friends. I'm Amanda Rollen and yes I'm the only female on air. I like to say I'm the rose between the thorns. You most likely hear me during work or running errands, I do midday's here at WMDH.
I'm from Muncie, Indiana born and raised... this is my town. I grew up going to St. Mary's School and a graduate of Muncie Central. (GO Bearcats) I couldn't wait to get out of this place. I left for College to Ohio Northern University in Ada, Ohio where I received a BA in Broadcasting and Electronic Media. I found myself lost and confused unable to find my passion. That all changed when I was introduced to radio...it never seemed like work and I realized this was my future. I was on WONB during my College days as well as interning with Clear Channel. After Graduation I felt East Central Indiana calling me home so I returned to Muncie and found myself on a local station in Muncie for six nd half years with a number 1 show and felt like I needed a change so I crossed over into Country Music.
In my free time I listen to music, addicted to Reality TV show, I love to sing Karaoke, have game nights with my friends, and of course hang out with my kitty cat Bella...she's my baby. I am always on the go but you'll find me on facebook and tweeting away 24/7.
Pink is my favorite color and if something is made in pink I have it. I love conspiracies and think everything is one or the start of one, I like to make others squirm & start debates. I'm a believer in positive thoughts positive results. I bust out in song constantly and I can't wait for the zombie apocalypse.
