October 1st: 25th anniversary of First Thursday Arts Walk in downtown Muncie. More info:https://www.downtownmuncie.org/first-thursday Join Jeff Reynolds as he takes the Country Cruiser back to downtown Muncie Thursday evening for the 14th annual Soup Crawl hosted by Second Harvest Food Band and PrimeTrust Federal Credit Union. East Central Indiana restaurants will showcase signature soups at various downtown stations during Muncie’s First Thursday celebration. Proceeds support Second Harvest’s “Big Idea” initiative to fund student meals. 102.5 WMDH will be there to help kick things off Thursday evening from 5-7 with Free Crew Car Washes and 8 Seconds Saloon tickets while they last! October 2nd-3rd: Minnetrista is excited to start the Halloween season with our annual Boo-levard Bash. This year, we’re adding something new and spooky! Our family-friendly trick-or-treating returns on Friday, October 2, from 5:30 to 8 p.m. along Minnetrista Boulevard. This free event welcomes everyone to dress up and join the fun. We’re also introducing our Haunted Trail & Market on October 3, from 7:30 to 10 p.m. Guests 13 and older can explore the Oakhurst Gardens after dark and discover what surprises are in store, then enjoy the market with tasty food, local vendors, and themed cocktails. Tickets are $10 for both the trail and market, or $5 for market access only.
October 3rd: Scarecrow at the Maring-Hunt Library garden area from 2-6pm at 2005 S. High St. in Muncie. A scarecrow competition, bounces houses, obstacles course, games, live music, crafts, and more. FREE hot dogs, popcorn, and apple cider while supplies last.
October 15th: Grace Baptist Church in New Castle is hosting professional illusionist David Corn at 6:30pm! This is a free family night with gift cards and prizes given out.

November 7th: Eastview Wesleyan Church’s Holiday Hustle. 10am – 4pm. This is a vendor and craft fair fundraiser for the children and youth ministries at Eastview Wesleyan Church in Gas City. All are invited to come shop and help us support kids, teens, and families in our community.
